Justin Freund and Jason Hussey became friends in the early 2000's through racing motocross. The racing rivalry continued into their professional racing careers doing several years of AMA Supercross and AMA Motocross together. Being friends as kids, they stayed close while starting their post-racing careers in the CNC Aerospace machining industry at  LMI Aerospace (currently Sonaca Aerospace). Joining each other again at Ozark Die Casting and Ozark Machining Technologies in 2017.  Jason was a partner in Ozark Machining technologies running a production CNC business with eight machines, including four Okuma Lathes, and four CNC Mills. OMT had over 20 employees during it's busy years and ran production on 3 shifts Sunday-Friday. During this time Justin became plant manager of Ozark Die Casting, overseeing over 30 zinc die cast machines ranging from small multi-slide machines up to 200 ton conventional machines. Justin oversaw a plant of 85 employees with three shifts of production casting. He has a well versed background in the toolroom, along with training in pneumatics/hydraulics, and custom PLC's.  In early 2024, Jason & Justin began talks of doing their own business, HF Manufacturing, to create their own path for their future.
